The mission of the library is to support the academic needs of the campus. To that purpose, support of individual faculty research is an important part of the library's purpose. An array of services are available to faculty including personal contact, provision of alerts with electronic resources, interlibrary loan, interlibrary use, and selective collection development. This web page is designed to promote those services as well as highlight faculty research projects and publications.

Electronic Resources -The library subscribes to select online databases hosting a variety of publications. Many databases provide full-text access to articles. The gateway to these resources is GALILEO. The library staff offer specialized searching instruction for faculty on how to utilize these resources to their maximum. In addition, the library staff will set up alerts for faculty based on their individual research needs. For more information click alerts. alerts.
Interlibrary Loan and Interlibrary Use - This service is available to all faculty and students. It provides fair interchange of collections among academic libraries. Interlibrary use cards can be issued for those individuals wishing to make an onsite visit to a library. As a member of the ARCHE consortia and the GPALS consortia, the library has extended check-out and use privileges among the top university and college libraries in the state. Collection Development - Faculty may request resources for their classes, research needs, and additional academic pursuits. The best collection is discipline based. To request resources please contact Anne Salter.
