Administrative History
Margaret Stovall was secretary to Oglethorpe University President Thornwell
Jacobs. The materials in this collection pertain to the period of time when
there were issues over Jacobs retaining the editorship of the Westminster
Magazine.
Description
The collection contains: a copy of the will of Thornwell Jacobs; a typed
biography of Jacobs; a list of items turned over to Jacobs on January 2, 1957; a
letter to the Boston Herald from I.H. McGee announcing Dr. Jacobs' visit to
Boston; letters to Margaret Stovall from J. F. Jacobs concerning the Westminster
Magazine.
