Administrative History
Thornwell Jacobs, President of Oglethorpe University, had a personal interest in finding the burial site of James Edward Oglethorpe. His mission led him to the Parish Church of All Saints in Cranham, England where he located the tombs of Lord and Lady Oglethorpe and secured an agreement that the bodies would be relocated to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. This broadside represents one element of the events that transpired toward this discovery.
